The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. PROFHILO® contains 32mg of low molecular weight HA (Hyaluronic acid) (80-100Kda) and 32mg of high molecular weight HA (1100-1400Kda). This gives one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market totaling 64mg of HA in a 2ml prefilled syringe. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo® stimulates collagen type 1, type 3 in fibroblast and type 4, type 7 in keratinocyte with elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin. The results in improved skim quality and skin hydration both in the dermis and epidermis. There is also increased production of endogenous HA and elastic giving the skin a more youthful look. Profhilo® delivers significant results as a stand alone treatment or in combination with other aesthetics treatments such as dermal fillers and anti wrinkle treatments. Despite its high HA content, it has a low inflammatory profile coupled with pro-healing properties which are backed by clinical studies. Benefits of the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique: The BAP technique (5 injections being injected into the deep dermal layer per side of face), examined and developed by IBSA is based on 5 injection sites, especially selected to minimize the risks while maximizing the diffusion of the product in the malar and sub-malar areas.
